Elevate your camp experience with the Takedown Challenge, held at the end of each Panther Train Tour date (must register to participate)! Compete in intense 30-second rounds: land the first takedown to move on, or if none, both competitors are out. CORY LAND

High School – Moody (AL):

5x Alabama state champ, 203–0 career record. Ranked #3 nationally at 126 lbs. First Alabamian to medal at Cadet Greco Worlds (U17 silver, 2021). Greco national champ in 2019 & 2021. 2022 Dave Schultz Award winner. School record holder for wins and pins.

College – Northern Iowa:

Academic All-Big 12 (2025). Made strong freshman debut with multiple pins, tech falls, and open titles.

Wyatt Voelker

High School – West Delaware (IA):

2x Iowa state champ, undefeated final two seasons. Ranked #6 nationally at 195 lbs. Junior Greco-Roman national champ and freestyle All-American. National Recruiting Showcase champ. NHS member and standout multi-sport athlete.

College – Northern Iowa:

Big 12 Champion (2025) at 197 lbs. NCAA Qualifier. Academic All-Big 12 and NWCA Scholar All-American. 27–6 season with ranked wins and dominant bonus-point performances.

Trever Anderson

High School – Ankeny (IA):

2× Iowa state champ (2019 at 106 lbs, 2021 at 120 lbs), 3× state finalist. Ranked nationally in the 120 lb class and recognized for elite speed and mat control. 

College – Northern Iowa:

Redshirt sophomore at 125 lbs and NWCA Scholar All-American in 2025. Earned Big 12 Wrestler of the Week after upsetting top‑5 Nebraska’s Caleb Smith 5–2. Posted a strong showing at the NCAA Championships, including a 17–8 major decision over reigning NCAA champ Richard Figueroa, and finished 19–13 on the season. 

Garrett Funk

High School – Don Bosco (Gilbertville, IA):

2022 Iowa 1A state runner-up at 132 lbs; placed 3rd and 5th in previous years. Won the 2021 Iowa/USA State Freestyle title at 126 lbs. Multi-sport athlete who played football and baseball; Honor Roll all four years. 

College – Northern Iowa:

Redshirt sophomore at 149 lbs during the 2024–25 season: compiled an 8–4 record with two pins, two technical falls, and two major decisions. Placed in the consolation bracket at both the BVU Open and Grand View Open. 

Panther Train Daily Schedule

Kick off the day with high-level wrestling instruction from UNI's elite: Cory Land (Alabama's undefeated legend, 203-0 HS record, World medalist), Wyatt Voelker (NCAA Qualifier, 20-8 D1 record), Trever Anderson (Big 12 Wrestler of the Week), and Garrett Funk (8-4 D1 with pins & techs).

Warmup and drills to get everyone moving, plus time for check-in delays.

Each wrestler gets ~25 minutes to break down their signature moves—focus on fundamentals for ages 6-18, from beginners to competitors.

The clinic is open to wrestlers ages 6-18, from beginners to advanced competitors. Our UNI clinicians tailor techniques to all levels, ensuring everyone—from kids idolizing Cory Land to seasoned athletes—gets valuable, personalized instruction.

The cost is $75 per participant for the full day at one stop. We offer a team discount of $1000 flat for groups of 15-30 kids—perfect for clubs or schools. No other discounts apply, but it's an unbeatable value for elite D1 training!

Bring wrestling shoes, headgear, a mouthguard, comfortable athletic clothes, water bottle, and lunch (or cash for local options during the 11 AM-12 PM break). Mats and facilities are provided at each venue—come ready to train hard!

The tour has three stops: July 23 at East Hamilton High School (Ooltewah, TN—near AL border), July 24 at Ironclad Wrestling Club (Birmingham, AL), and July 25 at Fairhope High School (Fairhope, AL). Each runs 9 AM-3 PM—pick your preferred date/location during signup.
